Invasive Exotic Removal
This involves removal infestations of nonnative species that have a tendency to displace native flora and fauna.  In the worst cases it may be necessary to contract with somebody licensed for lawn and ornamental pest control to spray herbicides.  An exhaustive list of invasive exotic species is not give, but some of the worst local (northeast Alabama) offenders are Chinese privet, English ivy, Japanese honeysuckle and other Lonicera spp., autumn olive and other Elaeagnus species, Bradford (Callery) pear, tree of heaven, and kudzu.  Other species that are either persistent or somewhat less invasive here than those listed above include nandina, Oregon grape-holly, paper mulberry, burning bush, rose of Sharon, Japanese rose, periwinkle, wisteria, and princess tree.  The later is discussed in more detail on the page about hiking sticks.  The above are all woody being either trees, shrubs, or vines that were mostly used for ornamental or erosion control, but several more are herbaceous plants grown for flowers, edible, and/or medicinal uses as well as forage crops, and weeds associated with lawns and/or cultivation.  Some of these herbaceous weeds are dandelion, both common and English plantain, grape hyacinth, star-of-Bethlehem, mullein, oxeye daisy, Queen Anne's lace, four o'clock, various kinds of mints including henbit, various kinds of clover, purple loosestrife, tall fescue, Bermuda grass, orchard grass, Kentucky blue grass, Nepal grass, dallis grass, Johnson grass, redtop, monkey grass, nimble will, dock, red sorrel, and cockle bur.  Some of these are still sold, but the worst examples are those that are renamed to fool the customers, such as monkey grass, which is alternately called liriope and turf lily while I suspect Johnson grass seed is relabeled Sudan grass and marked up in price.  The difficulty in controlling any of these invasive exotic weeds can be summed up by saying "One year of going to seed means seven years of going to weed."

Wildlife Enhancement
This service varies depending on the need, which includes providing food, water, and/or shelter for the species desired.  Specific examples include butterfly gardens with the various host and/or nectar plants, water features, feeders, and both natural (if materials are available) and man-made houses, including brush piles, logs, bird houses, bat houses, butterfly houses, and toad houses.
