Consulting
Consulting is essentially a free service as indicated by the information provided throughout this website, and it is included with all other services. To take advantage of the free consulting just hang around while I work not only will you learn what is being done, but also why. Topics may extend to many other subjects, but a typical starting point is plant identification, especially native woody plants, and can include random amounts of trivia about them. If want be involved don't charge any more if you wish to help, in fact this will even save you money if an hourly billed project is finished in less time.

Tertiary merit badge topics is a partial list where I have experience in some requirements often by default.
Computers, Electricity, Electronics, Entrepreneurship, Indian Lore, Reading, Scholarship, and Woodwork.
Guide Service
"Take me with you!" could be a slogan, which applies to backpacking, camping, hiking, and canoeing. One of the most requested reason for guide services is helping nature photographers with anything from logistics with gear to finding and identifying subjects at local hot spots such as the Walls of Jericho and Pisgah Gorge. The advantage is that the above consulting will almost be osmotic. Otherwise assisting with scientific research is welcome if only for me to gain the additional knowledge.
Presentations
I have given occasional presentations at garden clubs and boyscout events on topics that include native woody plant identification and leave no trace ethics. A time or two I have been surprised that they didn't seem to believe in free speech, insisting that I take an honorarium to at least cover travel expenses. OK, if you insist.
